C+S | North Star Gatherings, Idaho Springs, Colorado Wedding

Caroline and Seth got married amongst the mountains at the beautiful North Star Gatherings in Idaho Springs, Colorado. When I first met these two at their Chautauqua Park engagement session in Boulder, it was a warm summer day. That’s exactly what it feels like to be around Caroline and Seth - a warm summer day. They both have such a kind and soft demeanor, and their wedding reflected this beautifully.

Even almost a year later as I blog this, I still cannot stop thinking about their ceremony. It was really that touching. Their officiant spoke about inclusivity, diversity, and marriage equality. This showed how much Caroline and Seth care about others, even on their wedding day. Not only was their wedding aesthetically gorgeous (major props to LP Creative Events for killin’ it as always) but it was gorgeous because it was full of so much love.

Another one of my favorite moments was Seth taking photos of Caroline on his 35mm camera during their couple photos. It was so neat to see the wedding from his perspective, as he mentioned to me how much he loves shooting on film. They even had film and instant cameras laid out around the venue for their guests to capture their day from their points of view. I LOVE this idea and seeing your wedding through your guests eyes.

After a heartfelt day, we moved on into the reception which was bustling with dancing and celebratory energy. As most of my 2021 weddings went, everyone had been waiting patiently to dance and celebrate with their loved ones again after 2020. I am so glad C+S got to fully immerse themselves in the love of their friends and family during their celebration. The movement and energy flowing through the room felt extra special after missing out on it for so long. You can see how much fun they were having through their photos at the end.
