I am so happy you have found me! My name is Madeleine or Mado, and I like to spend my time photographing people who are in love! I am based in Denver, Colorado but I never say no to travel. Couple, wedding, and elopement photography are my jam (basically anything involving humans but please feel free to bring your pets as well). I have captured hundreds of weddings and couples over the last 12 years and I consider myself an expert not only in creating incredible images but also in guiding people in front of the camera. Fun fact, I used to be a fashion photographer before I transitioned to weddings full time!
My favorite place in the world is around a campfire, and my personal mission is to pet as many animals as possible on any given day. I can be found holding random lizards, tending to my 100+ house plants (whoops), listening to 80s music, and DIY renovating my old house. I am deeply inspired by my wonderment for nature, and I believe each person's love story is an expression of mother nature's beauty and complexity. Photography allows me to express my appreciation for all things living on this planet, and document the connecting force of love that is shared between humans and our planet.
My goal is to create a relaxed yet fun environment for my clients where you can let your true self emerge. I direct with prompts, gentle guidance, cheering you on, and asking questions that evoke genuine emotion and laughter, instead of stiff poses. I like to think of each photograph as a piece of art that conveys how you truly felt during that moment, or for the person that you love.
I am here to guide you through the entire photographic process to ensure that you are excited about every aspect of your session. I’ll help with it all, including choosing a location, what to wear, and how to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Photography is so much more to me than snapping and delivering pictures.
