B+L | Hearth House Colorado Elopement

Oh my, what a special day with Brandon and Leah. They are so sweet, genuinely in love, and adaptable to whatever life presents to them.

This gorgeous Colorado elopement would not have been possible without the INCREDIBLE team of vendors I got to collaborate with too. We had the vision to set up a picnic for our couple out in the Colorado Paint Mines, surrounded by pillows, flowers, and cozy rugs to sit on. However, the weather had a different idea and gave us rain instead! Part of photographing elopements (and weddings in general) is adapting to any weather condition. Our planner, Kenzie from Fable Style & Design was able to find us a beautiful indoor venue - Hearth House in Monument, Colorado. Moving everything indoors proved to be just as stunning as having it outside. Leah and Brandon shared a charcuterie board, lots of laughs, kisses, and snuggles amongst the setting Kenzie had designed for them. A huge benefit to having a planner/designer for your elopement is that you don’t have to worry about a thing. If you envision getting married in a mini living room surrounded by fancy cheeses and candles but don’t know where to start, planners have your back and can bring everything you need! Once the rain subsided, we headed outside to pop a bottle of champagne (please check out the photo of Brandon popping the bottle - the champagne blasted out like a fire hose and we couldn’t stop laughing). We then drove about 10 minutes down the road into the forest where Leah kicked off her shoes and wandered around in nature barefoot with her love! This day was truly a dream. I feel so lucky to meet such amazing humans who just want to celebrate each other in an intimate setting. Elopements are ultimately about YOU as a couple, and that’s all that matters! Rain, sun, wind, whatever - love always comes through as the strongest element.
