L+B | Colorado Paint Mines Elopement

At the beginning of the pandemic, I saw so many couples having to cancel/postpone their 2020 weddings. My heart really went out to everyone struggling this year, and after chatting with an amazing wedding planner (Jenna from Revel & Roots) we decided to give back to a deserving couple who had to postpone or cancel their wedding plans. We assembled an incredible team of Colorado vendors to create a complete elopement experience giveaway. Elopements seem to be the perfect answer to people who are just ready to get married and who want to share that intimate experience together more than anything (the reception / party with friends and family can happen whenever!) After reading through all of the wonderful submissions, Leah and Ben became our couple.

Leah and Ben have been waiting years to tie the knot, and they originally had plans to get married in Vail this year, but had to completely cancel their wedding after the pandemic hit. They traveled all the way from Texas to Colorado to marry each other. We knew it was meant to be when we arrived at The Paint Mines in Calhan, Colorado and the thick black rain clouds parted right when their ceremony was supposed to start.

Our entire team of vendors couldn’t have been more honored to provide a way for these two to still have their wedding. They were the absolute sweetest and just radiated kindness from the very beginning. They were so appreciative to have been able to celebrate their love in this way, and I personally was so appreciative to have photographed these wonderful humans. I also want to say a huge thank you to the following vendors who made this giveaway possible, and I can’t recommend them enough.
